Trash To Treasure: DIY Miniature Chair

I'm very happy with myself at the moment.  I wasn't certain it would work out but I am pleased with the results of my new chair.

This is how is started.  I cut it from an old softener bottle.

Then I covered it with an old rag with tacky glue.

Last, I added legs and a pillow.  So what do you think?

Fixed My Mini Couch

Remember the mini couch I made but wasn't happy with?  The one from this post?  Well I finally got around to doing something about it.  I took everyone's advice and made the back higher.  I also added some back cushions and I painted it all white instead of leaving it brown.  I am very happy with it now.

I also eyed this little wooden girl that I got second hand and that has been sitting on my shelf all this time and saw her in a new light.  She fits the new furniture pretty well I think.

A New Chair and a New Bedroom Scene

I made a new chair out of a jewelry gift box and some scraps.  I don't have any dolls so this skeleton from the Dollar Tree is helping with the display.

Another scene I put together with the new chair.  The guitar was on a chain pull for a fan.

I love how everything looks with the new walls and flooring in this new bedroom scene.

I can't keep plants alive in real life so I love having a bunch in my mini rooms.

Diy Miniature Bunk Beds and Chair

I made some bunk beds and just like the desk lamp I made recently, I think they're too big.  The "dog" is actually a wolf from my kids animal toys.

I also made a window.  Well, I didn't make it, I just put an outdoor picture behind a frame I had.

The magazine was cut from a catalog a long time ago...hence the NSYNC haha!

I made a bowl chair as well.  Or whatever you call those kind of chairs.

I used a little plastic glass from the Dollar Tree and half a diy ornament.

I might try and paint it later, not sure.

The picture on the wall is another magazine cut out.  The red lamp, I picked up at the Dollar Tree as well.  And the bedding are eye glass cleaning cloths that I picked up at...that's right, Dollar Tree!
