A Catch Up Post

The following are just random scenes and rooms I've put together during my "away time".

Quarantined and Bored....

Watch Netflix and chill.

Take a nap.

Take stock of your supplies.

Play board games with your significant other.

Or practice an instrument.

I'm coming back...

...for now.  I do still plan on trying out some different platforms but for now I miss posting my newest minis on here.  And this quarantine is definitely leaving me with plenty of time for crafting.  

I do plan on posting a couple "catch up posts" to show you what all I have worked on since the one month shutdown period .😖  However, tonight, I have something new to show you.  I cut out some new (to me) vintage artwork from a magazine for my mini displays.

Shutting Down

Miniature Fireplace

For those of you that didn't know, I took a break from electronics for the entire month of February.  Besides lowering my stress and anxiety, I got quite a bit done with the free time I suddenly had.  Which of course included miniature making.  One of which I am super happy with was a quick project I made from a Dollar Tree dresser.  

I started by putting it in the microwave to soften the glue and removed the front panel and legs.

Then I used jumbo popsicle sticks and cut them to frame my fire place.

I also purchased some stain markers from the Dollar Tree and used one to stain the fire place.  Below is the finished product.  I love how it came out.
