New Minis

This is going to be a quick post but wanted to share with you that I got a chance to pick up some new minis that Michaels hobby shop now has and a couple from the Dollar General in their garden section.  I even found time to get to play with them.  Down below are some pictures of some scenes I put together.  Have you purchased any of the new Michaels minis?  How about the wooden couch?  I haven't figured out how I want to dress it up yet so if you've picked one up, I'd love to see some pictures of what you've done with it.

I have so many mini toys!  I tried to put them all in one scene and still have so many that I could not find room for!

I've got a mini block.  Usually I'll just play with my minis and am able to come up with a new fun idea or two but lately, just can't come up with anything.  Do you ever get stuck in a rut?  What do you do for inspiration?

It Has Been A Little Bit

 

Dollar Tree miniatures

I picked up these at a Dollar Tree and decided I could paint them and use them in my minis.

As soon as I find my white paint pen, I'll add his name to the dog bowl.  I also included some new tables I made in the picture.  They are much like the ones I made with bobby pin legs but the legs wouldn't stay on so I took two (out of the many) pizza centers "tables" I have, painted them black and used them as the bases.

I haven't worked much with new minis but will hopefully have more for you later. 

I'm Still Here!

 I know, it has been quite a while since my last post but I promise you all that I am still here and that I do indeed, still have minis on the mind.

Seriously though, I have planned out so many new mini projects that I feel overloaded with ideas.  And now that I have finally found more time to focus on said minis, I have decided to start with just simply playing with my minis for this little scene.  So yeah, in other words, I got so overwhelmed with ideas that I couldn't think of a single one when I finally sat down to create...judge me not.

Anyway,....

I have so many mini toys that any kind of child's room is an easy go to.  However, this particular scene does have a few new minis, let's see if you can eye them?

Titles are hard....

I am not good at coming up with catchy titles.  Any way, I am sorry for not posting much.  We've decided to homeschool the girls this year and I am a nervous wreck and obsessing with getting everything ready that I haven't done much else.  But I thought I would at the very least, stop by and share with you a little something my daughter has been working on.  She wanted to make a miniature room like mommy!

I think it is adorably creative.  My youngest is working on one as well but hasn't finished her's yet.

This will be a short but sweet post.  I was digging through my box of new wallpaper that I picked up at a yard sale (box full for $2) and found this pretty dreamy looking paper and decided it needed a scene of its own.
