Miniature Bohemian Bedroom

miniature bohemian bedroom

I was going to try and wait to post this on Friday but I am too excited.  I'm so happy with the latest scene I put together.  It's a good thing to take a break every once in a while, you come back stronger!

You'll probably recognize a lot of stuff from previous projects.  But there are some new things too.

The lamp, for example, is new.  I made it using a makeup lid and another chess piece.  The drift wood is something I've had forever and only recently saw a way to use it finally.  And there are some pieces that I haven't used in a long time like the clear side tables.

I also put in some mini "crystals".  They are from my collection of Pecos Diamonds that I collected as a kid.  I feel it makes it a little witchy.

I also finally used that little tray that my friend gave me a while back.

miniature bedroom dresser

I placed a bunch of teeny tiny sea shells in a bowl on the dresser and a candle that I've hardly used.

miniature cat

The chest is an incense holder.  As for the cat, I need to try and paint them to make them look a little better at some point.

The room was a little bland before I realized what was missing.  Plants!  So I put plants EVERYWHERE!  They really make the room so much better.

I just love all the colors in this room.  The blues, oranges and pinks!  Notice the pink rug?  I will have to build a permanent room box to repeat this scene for keeps soon.

Miniature Children's Bedroom

miniature children's bedroom

Hi, it has been awhile and I am sorry for that.  Life, too often, gets in the way of my fun.  But I am back and have lots of new miniature projects to share with you all including this children's bedroom I made recently.

Dollar Tree Furniture

Most all of the furniture came from the Dollar Tree.  I painted the pieces and redid the bedding for the little beds.

Dollhouse children's bedroom

I had the wall paper already in my supplies as well as the olive green rug (rug sample).  The bedding I made out of a rag that was also picked up at the Dollar Tree.  The flooring, however, was on sale at Michael's for 49 cents.

I made the banner with some scrap paper and some string.  I love how it came out.

Most every thing, in fact, was already in my supplies.  Like the toys, beads I used for the plant holders, mini umbrella and the poster was a sticker I had.

I am so in love with this room, but it is unfortunately only a temporary room.  I made an experimental display room so that I could play with ideas.  Perhaps I'll make it more permanent in the future.

Again, you can click on the pictures to get a larger view.  I hope you enjoyed this room as much as I did making it.
