Next Project...

Before I go into my next project, I have a question for you all.  What do you do with previous projects?  Do you sell them, give them away, keep them to work on later or keep them just to admire your work?

I have many projects that I've started and still need to finish.  I promised myself I would start any new projects until those were finished but I just can't help myself.  I have two more dollhouses just starring blankly at me and I wanna play with them.  The ideas have been going wild in my head.  So I gave in.

Let me introduce you to my next project:

As you can see its had a head start on me.  I can't wait to get started on it!

Before and After

 The attic room...
...became the bathroom.

The room next to the bathroom...
...became the girl's room.

 The room with the balcony...
...became the sitting room.

 The middle bedroom...
...got a makeover.

 As did the livingroom...

And of course, the kitchen...

The outside of the house got a new paint job and some landscaping...

Before and after of the interior....

I'm so glad its finally done.  Now on to the next project....hmm, I wonder what that will be...

Dollhouse Front Yard is Finished!

The outside got a new coat of paint.
I used paper grass and some small rocks from my driveway.
The flowers are beads from the $1 shop.
Some of the greenery is fish tank plants.

diy miniature birdbath
The bird bath is a plastic angel Xmas ornament with a basin I had, all painted to look like one stone piece.

The stone urns on the sides of the house were gold plastic trophies I picked up at the Dollar Tree a while back.
I hid a little rabbit under this plant.

I added a porch light to finish it off.  What do you think?

Miniature Bathroom Finished!

I made the tub and shower curtain which was a new experience for me.

I made the table out of some spare pieces I had and the bottles.
The bathroom was a very small space to work with, but I'm proud of how it came out.

I'm most proud of the soap dish I made by the mirror.  I only wish I had gotten a better picture of it.  It was a piece of card cut in a circle with a shell glued to it and then all painted silver.  I found a bead shaped just like a bar of soap.

Miniature Little Girl's Bedroom

I had a baggy full of accessories for this room for awhile now and I finally got to use them.

I started by painting the room with some paint I had left over from the Lady's Roombox.  And then I added a sage colored rug (rag).  Last, I got to the fun stuff...
